The yeast, sugar, and warm water should all be combined in a stand mixer basin. Let the mixture sit for five minutes, or until frothy.
The ingredients should be blended when you add the eggs, oil, flour, and salt to the bowl. Mix at medium speed for 6 minutes, or until the dough is elastic and smooth.
The dough should be moved to a greased basin, covered with a wet towel, and allowed to rise for an hour, or until it has doubled in size, in a warm location.
Each of the three equal pieces of dough should be formed into a rope that is about 18 inches long. Place the bread on a baking sheet that has been oiled after braiding the strands together. For 30 minutes, cover with a damp towel and allow to rise.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Once egg wash has been applied, bake the challah for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Before serving, remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
