Ingredients
  

  • 1 8-ounce longhorn salmon fillet
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon quartered

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Put some salt and pepper on the salmon. In a sizable ovenproof skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat. Cook the salmon in the pan for 2 minutes, or until it has browned.
  • Remove pan from heat. Place lemon quarters around salmon. Bake for 12 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
  • Remove from oven; let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes

This recipe can also be made with other types of fish, such as tuna or halibut.
