In a large bowl, combine the pork sausage meat with the garlic powder, sage, black pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Use your hands to mix everything together until it forms a homogenous mixture.
On a lightly floured surface spread out the puff pastry sheet and carefully spoon the sausage mixture down one side of the pastry in a long log shape.
Roll the pastry up around the filling and cut into 4-5 inch pieces.
Place each sausage roll onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash, if desired.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

You can also add herbs and spices of your choice to the sausage mixture.
