Saltgrass Cheesecake Recipe

Equipment

  • Spatula or spoon for stirring.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups crumbled pretzels

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8 inch springform pan.
  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time and blend in flour, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and salt. Stir in the crushed pretzels. Spread evenly over the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until center is set and golden brown. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to use a different type of pretzel for a unique flavor.
  • If you like your cheesecakes sweeter, you can add more sugar to the filling.
  • You may need to increase cooking time if the center isn't set after 25 minutes.
  • Serve with fresh fruit or whipped cream for a delicious finish!
