Cream Sauce for Lobster Ravioli

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 shallot minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together heavy cream, wine, salt, and pepper; set aside.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add shallot and garlic; sauté for two minutes, or until tender. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream mixture; bring to a simmer. Cook until sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and serve over lobster ravioli. Enjoy!
