Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
In a large bowl, mix together the crabmeat, cream cheese, green onion, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined.
Shape the mixture into 24 shrimp-sized balls.
Place the balls on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes, or until they are firm to the touch.
Remove the shrimp from the oven and let them cool slightly.
In the meantime, warm the oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat.
Coat the shrimp in flour, then Fry them in batches in the hot oil until they are golden brown on all sides.
On paper towels, dry the shrimp.
To make the garlic butter sauce, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the garlic and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve the shrimp with the garlic butter sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
