Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease and flour a 9-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, cornmeal, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  • Add eggs and melted butter to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  • After mixing the batter, pour it into the pan that has been prepared. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cornbread to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
