  • A spoon or spatula for stirring
  • A potato masher (if using fresh sweet potatoes)
  • An electric mixer (optional)
  • A rolling pin (if using a store bought pie crust)
  • A knife or fork for testing the sweet potatoes
  • A cooling rack

Ingredients
  

  • 9- inch pie crust one, unbaked
  • two cups of mashed cooked sweet potatoes
  • One sugar cup
  • Milk evaporation half a cup
  • 14 cup of melted butter
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix together sweet potatoes, sugar, evaporated milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until filling is set.
  • Cool before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

This recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Just increase the bake time to 60-70 minutes.
