Ingredients
  

  • 1 2-3 pound London Broil roast
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the roast.4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • When the oil is hot, add the roast and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned.
  • Transfer the roast to a baking dish and pour in the red wine and beef broth.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1-1/2 hours, or until the meat is cooked through.
  • Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

If you don't have a London Broil roast, you can also use a flank steak or top sirloin roast. Simply cook the meat according to the recipe instructions and then slice it thinly against the grain before serving.
