Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of fusilli pasta
  • 1 jar of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions.

  • In a large saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, olive oil, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain the pasta and add it to the saucepan with the tomato sauce.

  • Stir in the parsley and Parmesan cheese.
  • Pour the pasta into a baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted.

Notes

If you want a heartier dish, you can add some cooked ground beef or sausage to the sauce. You can also use different types of pasta, such as penne or rigatoni.
