Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine the molasses, sugar, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook the mixture, stirring frequently, until it comes to a boil.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips, if using.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and let it cool completely. Once it's cooled, cut it into squares and enjoy!

Notes

If you don't have molasses, you can use honey or corn syrup as a substitute.
