  • a 3-quart or larger crock pot
  • a cutting board and knife
  • a small bowl
  • A whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 1 can 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can 10.75 ounces condensed tomato soup
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 4 carrots peeled and sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a 3-quart or larger slow cooker, combine all ingredients except the potatoes and carrots. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, add the potatoes and carrots to the stew. Cover and continue cooking on LOW until the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve the stew in bowls, over rice or noodles if desired. Enjoy!
