Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x5 inch loaf pan. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl whisk together the egg, milk, and oil. Add this to the dry ingredients and mix until just moistened. Gently stir in the blueberries. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of muffin comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to finish cooling.
